Seatoun Alterations & Addition

The clients approached me to design an addition that would seamlessly connect their existing house to the garden, enhancing the flow between indoor and outdoor spaces. We decided to demolish an old lean-to carport and build a cost-effective addition, including a garden room and decking areas. 

This new design creates a direct connection to the beautiful, north-facing backyard, which is adorned with mature trees. Additionally, we reconfigured the existing living room to include a garden room/conservatory feel, featuring large skylights and a north-facing facade. We also utilized some of the living room space to create a new desk study area, enabling the clients to comfortably work from home.
